Joe & Kara are Chartered Geologists and Fellows of the Geological Society of London with ~20 years’ experience across various industry, government, research and leadership roles. Both have a broad multi-disciplinary background with geographical experience across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and New Zealand.
Joe has a BA in Geology from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland (2001), a PhD in Geology from the University of Victoria, Canada (2004), and a BSc in Mathematics & Physics from The Open University, UK (2017). Joe is also a two-time winner of AAPG's J.C. "Cam" Sproule Memorial Award. Joe is currently an Adjunct Professor at the School of Earth Sciences in University College Dublin, Ireland, and a member of the Sustainable GeoEnergy research group.
Kara has a BSc in Geology from the University of Victoria, Canada (2001) and a PhD in Geology from the University of Manchester, UK (2016). Kara is currently an Assistant Professor of Sedimentology at University College Dublin, Ireland, and the Head of the Sustainable GeoEnergy research group.

We offer a variety of services ranging from short-term assistance with new business screening, dataroom evaluations, opportunity peer-reviews to longer-term support for asset and business development teams.
We can also assist with regional geoscience studies including the fields of petroleum geoscience, geothermal, geostorage, and geomechanics.
